Installing WordPress with Fantastico

Installing your first WordPress website is easy if your web host provides you with Fantastico. Fantastico is a series of install scripts written for popular web software such as content management systems, ecommerce, and of course blogging software such as WordPress.

Look for the Fantastico icon in your CPanel.

Fill out the details of the new site. I am installing a new WordPress site of http://demo.bloggingteacher.com, configuring an admin password, and email address. I will leave the email account configuration (for posting blog entries via email) alone for now, and set that up another time.
