Have you bought your Sitepoint books for the bushfire appeal?

There are only about 24 hours left for Sitepoint’s bushfire appeal fundraiser.  You can buy 5 Sitepoint ebooks for the price of one – thats $150 value for just $29.95.

Sitepoint wanted to raise $50000 (USD) in 3 days.  They reached that mark in the first 24 hours and with another day still to go have already raised $150000! This is a great example of a company using their profile to do good things in times of need.

We’d already donated privately but I couldn’t pass up such a great deal, especially since it meant more money goes to those who need it most right now.  The hardest part was choosing 5 as there are some great titles.  Here are the ones I chose:

As I downloaded and extracted them to my ebooks folder I was reminded that I already had two other great titles from Sitepoint (The Art and Science of CSS, and The Photoshop Anthology).  These guys really turn out some terrific books.  If you want to learn about web design or development then Sitepoint has the books to get you started.
