About Paul Cunningham
I’ve been creating websites since 1999, before fast internet connections and before WordPress. I started blogging seriously in 2006 and have launched multiple blogs as well as providing WordPress design and development services to other bloggers and businesses, and freelance blogging for major tech websites.
I run a popular website in the IT pro niche that gets over 130,000 monthly pageviews, thousands of subscribers, and is among the top ranking websites in my niche on Google.
After getting my start in blogging thanks to the free guidance from bloggers such as Darren Rowse, Chris Garrett and Brian Clark I’m paying it forward by providing as much free, valuable content as I can to help other bloggers.
It hasn’t all been easy. I know blogging is tough, especially when you’re trying to fit it into a busy life with a full time job and a family. You can read more about my blogging story here.

What People Are Saying About Blogging Teacher
I first came across Paul and Blogging Teacher early in his development as a blogger and teacher. His information is always excellent, succinct and relevant. What I like in particular is his honesty and willingness to help. I always look forward to reading the next article on Blogging Teacher and always learn something new.
- Frank Wall, Our Hiking Blog
For nuts and bolts blogging advice, including strategy, email marketing, affiliate marketing, and WordPress coding and management, Blogging Teacher is my favourite blog, BY FAR! Paul is one of the smartest people I’ve never met, and genuine too. Also doesn’t hurt that he writes an easy to read blog with some quirky humour every now and then.
- Glenn Murray, Divine Write Copywriting
I look forward to all of Paul’s posts. His blog was one of the first I found (that says something about his marketing and SEO skills) when I was tearing my hair out trying to set up my blog. The Blogging Teacher is the first place I go now if I have a tricky question. Keep up the good work Paul!
- Karalyn Brown, InterviewIQ
The one thing I particularly appreciate about Paul Cunningham, besides the great information in his posts, is that on several occasions when I have had questions or even just left a comment on a post, Paul has sent me personal e-mails to answer those questions or give me encouragement. It is rare to find such personal interest in a blogger of Paul’s stature and I appreciate it so much!
- Anne Galivan, Homeschooling 911
Paul’s book on freelance blogging is an extremely useful guide, and he is very generous with his time both on bloggingteacher.com and over in the Third Tribe forums. One particular tip from Paul enabled me to get a full outline done for an ebook I’m planning in about a tenth of the time it would have taken otherwise.
